Since we’re still hanging out at home these days, we thought a little art project would be the perfect pick-me-up! Inspired by our latest collection, Surfadelic, these acrylic paint marbling prints give us all the psychedelic vibes, and it’s actually pretty simple!
You will need:
- Acrylic Paint
- Liquid starch (You can find this in the laundry section of the grocery store!)
- Paper
- Paint brushes or some sort of stick to stir
- Plastic container or tub
- Newspaper or tablecloth (Things might get a bit messy!)
Start by pouring a layer of liquid starch into your container.
Get creative and start adding drops of acrylic paint! (If your paint is too thick, you can mix it with some water in a separate cup first.)
Swirl your paint around in a marbling effect using your paintbrush. (There is no rhyme or reason here, they will all look different and equally as cool!)
Set a piece of your paper on top of the marbled paint and liquid starch design. Make sure it completely touches the liquid, so you don’t miss any spots.
Gently lift up your paper and see how rad your art looks!
